Blog # 101

DAY TWO:
Today you will finish writing your travel review.
Be sure to hand in both your restaurant review and the travel review by the end of the period.
Next week we combine these two types of reviews into your final major project.
************************************************************************************* To review...
Select any location you have ever visited or any place you have taken a vacation and write a review of it, modelled on the review I have provided below.
This is from a person who visited a bed and breakfast in Edinburgh, Scotland.
If you have never left Queens then make something up!
************************************************************************************
We just returned from a 3 day stay at Geraldsplace in Edinburgh and highly recommend this wonderful B&B. Gerald is a charming and welcoming host who invites you into his home and provides all the comforts one would expect from a favorite relative. After just having stayed in a B&B in York the previous nights where our room was barely larger than the bed, Gerald's spacious room with every possible amenity was so welcome. As others have stated, Gerald has carefully considered every need of the traveler, and beyond. So staying here is not only comfortable, but also very convenient.

Breakfast is served right in the home's kitchen with all manor of options, both cold and hot. The breakfasts are filling and satisfying and a nice time for conversation with Gerald and the other guests Gerald offers helpful suggestions for sightseeing/ restaurant choices and tours in the area. He also provides maps and books and general advice, but he is not intrusive or overbearing in making suggestions.

There are 2 choices in room accommodations which was not clear from Gerald's website. We stayed in the front bedroom with ensuite bath, which was very convenient and comfortable, but it has no view. The second bedroom has a lovely view, but bath is not in the room. If you have a preference, I recommend you ask Gerald about availability. I was very pleased to have the ensuite bath for the convenience. Others might prefer the view. Either way, you will be pleased with the comforts of the room and hospitality of your host.
